First Session Enrollment in a Degree Program

Unless otherwise approved by the Provost, Deans, or designees, students enrolling in a Bachelor’s degree program without an Associate’s degree and/or with less than 24 semester hours of earned college-level credits from an institutionally accredited college or university will be required to enroll in TUX 101 (The Trident University Experience) in their first session. Students enrolling into a Bachelor’s degree program with 24 or more semester hours of earned college-level credits from an institutionally accredited college or university will be required to enroll in TUX 301 in their first session. Students enrolled in an Associate’s degree at Trident will be required to enroll in TUX 105 (The Trident University Experience). In light of the importance of TUX 101, TUX 301, and TUX 105, and their correlation to student success, students will be required to successfully complete and pass the course before they are able to continue with other courses in the program.
