Undergraduate-Level Programs

  • Total Semester Hours: Undergraduate students are required to earn a minimum of 120 semester hours to be eligible to graduate from Trident. Some programs may require more units. See table below.
  • Residency: Undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 25% of their program in residency Trident.
  • For Bachelor’s level programs, there is an Upper Division Course Requirement: Students must complete a minimum of 32 semester hours of coursework at the 300 and 400 levels. Associate’s alumni who have completed lower division courses cross listed as upper division courses may be approved to graduate with less than 32 semester hours of Upper Division coursework.
  • General Education Program: Students must complete the General Education Program requirements as stated in the Academic Programs catalog.
  • Academic Program: Students must also satisfy all requirements of the individual program.
  • Minimum Grade: Students must receive a minimum grade of “D” in undergraduate coursework taken at Trident.
  • Capstone Grade: Students must receive a minimum grade of “C” in the undergraduate program capstone course.
  • Grade Point Average Requirement: Students must receive a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all undergraduate coursework taken at Trident.
