Payment of Credit Balance Student Accounts

Students are notified electronically via Electronic Funds Transfer (ETF) notification of all federal student loan disbursements received by Trident. Students may cancel or decline those awards. If the total Title IV funds received is greater than the Trident charges on the student’s account for tuition and fees and up to $200 of any prior balance, a credit balance exists. Credit balances are issued by check, Automated Clearing House (ACH), or debit card within 14 days of the date the credit balance is created on the student account.
