PRM 301 Introduction to Project Management
This course introduces the concepts, skills, tools, and techniques involved in managing projects in organizations. Topics include organization; project life cycles; and planning, executing, budgeting, scheduling, controlling, reporting, and closing. Issues of project integration; tradeoffs among scope, time, cost, and quality; risk management; alternatives in system resource allocation; and roles and responsibilities of technical staff, business managers, and project users are also addressed. Prerequisite: MGT302
