RMS 618 Quantitative Research and Advanced Statistics II
This course is designed to give students the necessary skills to analyze research projects. Together with the previous course (RMS608), the focus of this course is on inferential statistical procedures - with an emphasis on multivariate analysis, including multiple regression analysis, logistic regression, MONOVA/Repeated measure and factor analysis in an applied manner. The relationship with correlation for linear models, estimation, prediction, hypothesis testing, modeling, goodness of fit, and regression diagnostic will be discussed. It is expected that students will learn to generate the necessary summary measures, use them to estimate values for critical statistics, and conduct inferential tests. Students are also to determine appropriate research designs to an interested area of issues and problems faced in Education and Health Sciences. Prerequisite: RMS608
