Accreditation and Licensure

Institutional Accreditation

Trident University International is a member of the American InterContinental University System. The System is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (hlcommission.org), an institutional accreditation agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Programmatic Accreditation

Select business programs at Trident University International are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Refer to individual degree program pages to confirm program accreditation.

State Licensure

Trident University International is a member of the American InterContinental University System, which is licensed by the Arizona State Board for Private Postsecondary Education to grant degrees.

The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (SARA) is an agreement among member states, districts, and territories that establishes comparable national standards for interstate postsecondary distance education. Trident University International is a member of the American InterContinental University System, which participates in SARA through the Arizona SARA Council.
