CSC 260L Ethical hacking and Intrusion Detection
This course focuses on the basics of penetration testing, network attack strategies, and common countermeasures. Students will use various penetration testing tools to analyze networks for vulnerabilities. Knowledge of these vulnerabilities also helps students to understand how to counter these vulnerabilities and improve network security. This course prepares students for the EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker certification exam.
