HIS 207 Survey of United States History
This course explores the development of the United States from early societies in North America through the 21st century. Key topics include major historical events and themes, including westward expansion, industrialization, the Civil War, and the nation’s evolving role in global affairs. Emphasis is placed on social and cultural movements, conflict and change in the 20th century, and technological and societal developments shaping contemporary America.
