SOC 202 Principles of Sociology

This course introduces the fundamental concepts, theories, and perspectives of sociology. Key topics include as culture, socialization, social structure, power, race and ethnicity, religion, and education. Emphasis is placed on understanding how individuals interact with and are shaped by social institutions and broader societal forces, as well as the processes of social change.
