Associate of Science in Professional Studies Requirements

 

Degree Semester Hour Requirement

A minimum of 60 semester hours

Residency Requirement

A minimum of 15 semester hours must be completed at Trident.

Students in the No Concentration option will complete 6 unique general education courses and will complete 2 as part of the program core.

In the Organizational Leadership Concentration option, LED 201 meets the Social and Behavioral Sciences GE Requirement and ETH 101 meets the Arts and Humanities GE Requirement.

Students in the Organizational Leadership Concentration option will complete 4 unique general education courses and will complete 4 as part of the program core.

Program Options

Students have the option to complete the No Concentration option or to complete a concentration in Organizational Leadership.

TUX 105 Introduction to Online Education and Learning Technology must be taken in the first session of enrollment. PRS 299 or 290 must be taken in the student’s last session of enrollment in the program. Students must receive a minimum grade of “C” in the undergraduate program capstone course.

General Electives

The credits remaining after the General Education and Program Core courses are completed must be satisfied through free electives to bring the total degree credits to 60 Semester Hours. The student’s exact number of free electives required will be determined at the time that the transfer credit evaluation is completed by the Registrar’s Office.
