University Library
The central purpose of the University Library is to support the institution’s mission to help students prepare academically, personally, and professionally. The library staff, along with the administration of the University, is dedicated to providing library and information materials, services, and instruction to students.
The University Library is accessible via the library link in the portal. While some assignments specifically call for library usage, students are encouraged to check the library resources for supporting information for all the assignments in a course. The library provides the following resources and services:
- Access to full-text library research databases containing current news, subject-specific scholarly journals, and reference resources, historical articles, and more.
- Carefully selected links to websites organized by subject area.
- Access to published full-text articles from journals, magazines, and newspapers. In addition, the library subscribes to several collections of e-books and reference collections.
- Assistance in finding, evaluating, and correctly citing information from the library collections and the internet.
- Additional opportunities for library and information literacy instruction
