Refund Policy
If a student drops a course, withdraws from the University, or is dismissed during an academic session, the effective date used to determine any applicable tuition adjustments is as follows:
- Course drops and withdrawals: the date when the student submits their official drop or withdrawal request as outlined in the Withdrawal policy.
- Administrative or academic dismissals: the date established by the University.
Trident refunds tuition based on session length according to the refund schedules below.

Any refund due to the student will be issued within 30 calendar days after all applicable tuition adjustments and required returns of financial aid have been calculated and processed.

Students who receive Military Tuition Assistance (TA) will receive a tuition waiver for any unearned portion of TA that is required to be returned in accordance with applicable military regulations.
