Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management

The Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management (BSHRM) degree is designed to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed for careers in the large and growing human resource field. This degree provides students with a strong business background and an in-depth knowledge of the Human Resource Management discipline. The Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management degree teaches practical skills across HR disciplines including staffing, training, HR information systems, benefits, global HRM and more. All courses are case-based and application-based.

This business program is programmatically accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

Program Learning Outcomes

By the end of this degree program, graduates should be able to:

  1. Employ the core ACBSP core business concepts including principles, practices, and functions as a foundation in human resource management.
  2. Identify key dimensions of cultural diversity that impact on human resource practices in a global business environment.
  3. Identify organizational needs and challenges through active listening, critical thinking, and comprehensive data analysis.
  4. Employ a customer-centric approach to providing HR services, focusing on responsiveness, accessibility, and support for all members of the organization.
  5. Demonstrate ethical and responsible business practices by adhering to legal and professional standards.
  6. Demonstrate effective communication skills to address the needs, concerns, and expectations of various stakeholders.
