MAT 151 Principles of College Algebra
This course builds on foundational algebraic skills with a focus on functions and their applications. Key topics include factoring, rational and radical expressions and equations, and exponential and logarithmic functions. Emphasis is placed on numerical, analytical, and graphical methods to solve problems, with an emphasis on algebraic reasoning and clear mathematical communication. Prerequisite: MAT102, equivalent, or placement test.
